Install & first run
Download the APK
Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download Android APK. The download is named
StakeClaimer.apk.Allow installation from this source
Open the downloaded APK. If Android asks, allow your browser or Files app to install unknown apps using Allow from this source. The wording varies by Android version.
This permission is specific to the app opening the APK. You can turn it off again after installation.
Install and open StakeClaimer
Confirm the installation and open the app. Allow notifications when prompted so you can see its background status and return to the dashboard.
Connect your account
Use Sign in with Google if that is how you access your Stake account. Complete the sign-in flow and return to the dashboard.
Alternatively, import your session key. Follow the session setup instructions, then paste the key into the app’s session import option. Never share the key or include it in screenshots.
Set up background operation
On Home, tap Set up background and follow the guided permission setup. Review the app’s battery settings and allow unrestricted battery use where available.
Return to StakeClaimer and press Run in background. Check that its ongoing status notification appears.
Check the dashboard
Confirm that your account and subscription status are recognized. You can use your normal browser while StakeClaimer runs separately, and tap its notification to return.
Avoid swiping the app away from recent apps. If it stops, reopen it, check connectivity and permissions, then start background mode again.
Android battery management, connectivity and account verification can interrupt operation. Code availability and account eligibility still apply; successful claims are not guaranteed.
If something is not working
Android will not install the APK
Check that the download completed and that your phone meets the Android version and arm64 requirements. Allow installation for the browser or Files app that opens the APK, then try opening the downloaded file again.
The app shows “no subscription”
Check that the Stake username in the app matches the one linked to your active plan. Review your subscription or contact support if it is still not recognized.
Sign-in does not finish
Close and reopen the app, then try signing in again. If the problem continues, use the session import instructions or contact support.
Claiming stops when the phone is locked
Recheck the app’s background and battery permissions, especially after an Android update. Use Set up background, then restart background mode. Device-specific battery controls may still interrupt the app.
